Background:

I am one of two partners in the law firm Kahui Legal and I’m currently deputy chair of Aotearoa Fisheries Limited.  I have acted on a number of Treaty settlements for different Iwi and and have also been a negotiator for Ngati Porou over the foreshore and seabed and the return of Hikurangi.  I am married to Tiana, and I have two sons, Renata and Umuariki.
