Background:

I live in Ruatoria with my partner Heni, and I have five sons and two mokopuna.

My career has spanned both the public and private sector.  I have worked for the Dept. of Maori Affairs, Te Runanga o Ngati Porou and Ngati Porou Whanui Forests.  I am currently the Executive Officer for Ngati Porou East Coast Rugby.

I have served on several companies, committees and voluntary organisations.  However, my major commitment at present is to Tinatoka Marae, where I am Chairman on the Marae.

Aspirations for Ngati Porou:

I am keen to advance Ngati Porou interests including identifying and building and progressing cultural, social and economic opportunities for our whanau and hapu.
